Our chef, is a master in preparing a number of delicious Sri Lankan curries. We use freshest of the fresh fish, brought to us by the village fishermen as part of their morning catch. The vegetables we use are homegrown, sourced from our own private garden.
On request, the chef prepares various simple Western dishes which are mentioned on the lunch menu. We purchase fish and other seafood from the local fishermen who will be able to talk to you while they are engaged in their morning and evening duties. If you welcome them with a "kohomo da” (how are you), They are most probably going to reply you with a warm smile.

With delicious meals in a unique setting, our restaurant has a communal, friendly atmosphere. The buffet style dining experience allows guests to mingle with each other and our staff, and make new friends. Open to even outside guests, kiters usually end their day at our beach club with a sundowner. The perfect place to have a beer while basking in the glorious sunset and meeting new friends. From the upper deck lounge you are overlooking the ocean, the pool and the entire Kappalady lagoon with the kite spot.
On request and for very special occasions we arrange a “beachfront signature dining experience” – inquire from our F&B manager on duty for such arrangements.
