In the worldwide comparison, Sri Lanka has done a great job in managing the Covid-19 outbreak so far is OPEN AGAIN TO THE WORLD! On the 21st of January this year, the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority decided to re-open again for international tourism. After a very difficult year, we are excited and look forward to welcoming our guest again at our Safe & Secure Level 1 certified beach hotel and nature haven on Sri Lanka’s North West coast.
Located on a 22 acres beach front property, Elements feels like a "paradise-bubble" with much space and freedom to move around and we believe that this is what you are currently looking for: a safe but beautiful environment where you can forget about all the hassle out there.
Having been awarded with the Safe & Secure Level 1 certificate by the Sri Lankan Tourism Development Authority means that our team is well trained in COVID-19 health procedures to ensure that you, your family and the surrounding community are all well protected.
There is NO minimum stay required for your Sri Lanka holiday. However, during your first 14 days, you are obliged to stay in a Save & Secure Level 1 certified Hotel. You are allowed to change hotels though and selected Tourist-Sites and attractions can be visited with the necessary precautions. You are free to engage in any outdoor activities offered at Elements and our Kitecenter Sri Lanka once we receive your first negative PCR-test result (within 48 hours). Those activities include Kitesurfing, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddling, and swimming in our nature pool.
We are extremely happy that Elements Beach & Nature Resort made it through this crisis and see ourselves as part of the national effort to revive tourism in Sri Lanka again. We are determined to maintain the Covid-19 related safety protocols, as set out by the Ministry of Health and the SLTDA. Being registered as a Level 1 Safe and Secure Beach Hotel in Sri Lanka gives us all hope for the future. We are grateful to our amazing team who worked hard to get this Safe & Secure Level 1 certificate which means that, after a long period of 11 months, we can finally welcome again international tourists and re-patriates but are unable to accept domestic bookings for the time being.
Being certified as a Safe & Secure Level 1 beach hotel in Sri Lanka by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority means that the entire operation of Elements Beach & Nature Resort has been thoroughly evaluated by a government appointed and internationally recognized audit firm. We have implemented all necessary safety protocols and procedures and required staff trainings.
Sri Lanka is one of 30 leading travel destinations which received the Safe Travels Stamp from World Travel & Tourism Council and is now welcoming international leisure travelers again.
Looking forward to welcoming you soon,
The Elements Management
